Hi and welcome to Jodie's Aerobics based in Rotherham!

Jodie's Aerobics is all about getting fit the fun way.

I believe exercise shouldn't be a chore; it should be something to look forward to. Yes, you have to work a bit hard, yes you might have to get a bit sweaty, but that's all part of the fun!

As a mum of two, I know how hard it can be to find time to exercise and stay healthy. That's why I offer a variety of classes throughout the week to suit everyone. Check out my timetable below to find a list of classes and where you can join me.

Whether you are completely new to exercise or looking to progress your fitness, my aim is to provide sessions that are varied and challenging but also enjoyable. I also offer Personal Training to those who prefer a one-to-one approach.

Classes

  • Boxstep

    A fun, varied workout to start your week. Box, step, dance and tone up to music. This is a choreographed class using step boxes, boxing moves, light pad work and toning exercises all to uplifting tunes. Guaranteed to have you sweating and smiling!

  • B-fit with Babies

    B-fit with Babies is the perfect class for mums-to-be or post natal mums. A more gentle class, with less impact and specifically designed exercises for pre and post natal ladies, this session will help to build up your fitness levels and work off any excess weight gained though pregnancy. For pregnant ladies, this offers you a way to keep fit and healthy during your pregnancy. Babies and children are part of this class so feel free to bring them along!

  • Cardio Sculpt

    Don't have enough time for a full hour of exercise? Then this is the perfect class for you. Just 30 minutes of cardio and weight intervals. A short, achievable fitness session for stripping fat and toning the body.

  • Aerobics

    A full hour of fitness - aerobics style! Good music, good fun, and a good workout to get yourself in shape. If you’re looking to improve overall stamina and cardiovascular fitness Aerobics is the class for you. Exercises also include stretching, and strength routines, aiming to improve flexibility, and tone your body. Suitable for all levels.

  • Super Seniors

    Super Seniors is a circuit class aimed at the over fifties. All the features of a regular circuit class but with less intensity and impact. The session is made up of a set of aerobic and strength exercises carried out at stations around the studio. Not only is it an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina but it’s a fun class too, giving you the all round physical, social and mental health benefit.

  • B-fit circuits

    This 45 minute, ladies only session is full of cardio intervals, circuits and drills designed to get your heart rate up! It will be the class you love to hate. This great workout focuses on building up your cardio and uses strength moves for every major muscle group including core and balance exercises.

  • LBT (Legs, Bums and Tums)

    For a more specific workout, targeting those areas we all want to improve, why not try Legs, Bums and Tums. 45 minutes of exercises designed to tone and strengthen the legs, bottom and mid section.

  • Bouncetastic

    A fun, energetic, fat burning class, guaranteed to get your heart rate up! This complete exercise session is performed on a mini trampoline with added safety bar. Choreographed to all your favourite tunes, this high intensity but low impact cardio workout will blast your core and improve muscle tone. Come and join the bounce party!!!

  • Areotone

    A perfect combination of high and low impact choreographed routines and toning session. This class offers the best of aerobics and body conditioning to help you burn fat and tone up. A fun filled workout that will not only improve your cardiovascular fitness but also your muscular strength and endurance. 

  • Fit in 30

    Express fitness class designed to give you a full body workout. This session is split into 3 sections:10 minutes cardio, 10 minutes strength (upper & lower body exercises using weights), 10 minutes toning (working the core and mid-section). A little bit of everything for everyone!

Jodie’s Circuit class is the best work out class I have ever been to! I feel much stronger and healthier for going each week as it works your whole body! And the best thing is that each week is different, Jodie changes the classes so you never become complacent, I have learnt lots of new exercises and Jodie has built up my confidence doing them as she shows you how to do them correctly! Everyone in the class is friendly and we all support and encourage each other! I would really recommend this class to anyone both beginners and experienced gym goers!

After having my little boy my fitness and confidence levels had dropped massively. I decided to push myself and find a way of regaining my fitness and confidence. I come across Jodie's classes and one I could take my little one to at big Apple. I felt the difference immediately in myself through Jodie's constant encouragement, Jodie listens to you she caters to everyone's fitness levels and needs, the classes are very welcoming and have a great atmosphere (always a giggle) besides big Apple legs bums and tums I also do step aerobics (I never once thought this would be for me) but Jodie makes you believe in yourself and realise anything is possible. Last but not least if it wasn't for Jodie I would have never took up running, I had never run in my life when I took part in couch to 5k training with Jodie and some other girls who take part in Jodie's classes in preparation for race for life which we did as a team in May this year and I have gained a good fitness level plus a few new friends. It isn't just about the classes this lady goes that extra mile to support you where she can.

I met Jodie nearly two years ago at the Big Apple during her aerobics session over there. Jodie is very knowledgeable, experienced fitness instructor and her every session is such fun!
